Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is still somehow less commercial than all the others and I love that there is no religious aspect to it. Not that there is anything wrong with religious holidays, but this one is so special to me because we ALL get to share in it together. And of course there is the food – Thanksgiving food is by far my favorite.
There are so many things I have to be thankful for in my life. Sometimes it is hard, but even when things are tough there is always much to be thankful for. My husband, daughter and daughter to be are are at the top of my list though. Having this little family of mine has brought me more joy than anything I could imagine. We have a home, our health and a ton of love and in the end those are the most important things.
I am a little under the weather this year with a sinus infection so it will be very nice to not have to cook for anyone. Just a couple of pies which are pretty easy. My camera is off for servicing so we’ll see how creative I can get with some iphone pictures. Hope everyone has a joyous Thanksgiving!
